Is it possible to get the free hosting?What are the draw backs of the free hosting?

Yes it is possible to getting free web hosting you have to search in Google from here you get plenty of the free web hosting services. i want so suggest you that free web hosting is not so good compare of paid web hosting. Its not provide good services and its also not stable and fast. Its have not verity of featured in hosting plans and not provide good amount of space.

Hello anu220,

I have a very small website hosted in webs dot com. It has been hosted there for the past 8 years and I haven't paid a single penny. The drawbacks of hosting there is the very limited space for free users and an unattractive URL ( webs dot com/yourusername ). If you need to host a small project for free you could try that website.

Edit: I checked my website it appears they recently added a "freebar" which is basically a toolbar that follows you around and shows ads.

Hi nice to meet you here. I would like to suggest you to go with online option from here you get many of the web host company that provide free hosting service. I would like to advice you to do not use the free web hosting because its not trustworthy.

There are many free hosting services you can find on the internet, but once you build a website with it, your website will be full of advertisement, like pop-ups.

Yes,you can get free web hosting services but the drawback is that they are not reliable.
It is better to spend a little amount on hosting service and get best,reliable services.

000webhost is good for a free host. But I do recommend paid if your serious about your site.

I think free web hosting is not much important and useful if you are experienced SEO and want to continuously work. Anyway as i hear 000webhost is one of the best free hosting and providing some good services.

Free hosting is a bit of a risk on your part as the company isn't technically obligated to fulfill anything.

You have no guarantee of quality of service. They will fill your site with ads and will create sub domains against your will.

Free Hosting has many Drawbacks:-
1)Limited space and Bandwidth
2)Not secure(Privacy)
3)Doesn't have Full rights
4)No Virus Protection

Some hosts require you to place a banner on your pages, others display a window that pops up everytime a page on your site loads, while still others impose an advertising frame on your site. There is really no hard and fast rule which is to be preferred.

Free hosting is not so good, if you are going to run any serious site, I would say.

Try to buy a domain name and hosting, it doesn't cost much!

A lot of free hosts limit the resources and features you get and some make you pay to upgrade or put ad's across your site.

With share hosting so cheap now, free hosting seems more painful than what its worth

Free hosting is good for personal use/family site use only , it can run up with it , but if you are planning to have a big site, better use paid hosting

Yes, you are right that paid hosting is valuable for any website and provides security and technical support 24/7. In paid hosting, it does not allow you to place your own ads and most do not give you FTP details.
