How to Choose a Web Host
Web hosting companies vary greatly in price and customer satisfaction. For this reason, it is important to do your homework when it comes to finding a web host company.

The first thing you need to know is if the company offers a dedicated server or a shared server. Keep in mind that a dedicated server will cost you a lot more money per month than a shared server. The difference is that with a shared server, other people will share the same server with you whereas a dedicated server is yours and yours alone.

Find out what the uptime is for the company’s servers. You want a company that can guarantee at least 97% uptime. This indicated the amount of time the servers are up. If their servers are down, you will not be able to access your website.

It is important that you know how long the company has been operating. A newer company that is just starting out may experience more issues than a company that has been in business for five or ten years.

Ask the company what their backup protocol is. A sign of a great company is that they will back up all of their servers regularly. So when you are shopping around, ask a rep from the company how often the servers are backed up. Ask the web hosting company if you are allowed to create your own backup. While the company may backup their servers regularly, if a disaster happens, you may be charged to recover your site.

Re: How to Choose a Web Host
There are various web hosting sites, instead of names, I would suggest, please check the below points before ordering the new hosting service -

1. Quality support - Proper resolution for your issue. If you will get the quality answers for your queries then it's really best to stuck with such hosting provider.

2. Good hardware and software - Your hosting provider should have proper hardware setup and necessary software setup.

3. Cost for service - It's not necessary that you should have low budget hosting service but you should get the high quality service in the paid amount.

4. Quality time - The support team of your hosting provider should provide the resolution of your query within the time. Reply time depends on the type of query you submitted.

5. 24x7 service - Support team should be available 24x7 for you.

6. Server security and maintenance, uptime - Servers on which you're going to host your service should be hardened and protected from various types of attacks. There should be firewall setup. There should be periodic maintenance and patching for your server, applications on it.

Server uptime should be minimum.

7. Easy to manage - The provider should provide the interface of panel which is easy to understand and access. GUI of the panel should be user friendly.

Re: How to Choose a Web Host
When choosing a hosting provider always read its reviews online. If the majority of reviews are good then go through its features. The features are most important because there might be something that you need but you haven't realized yet.

Re: How to Choose a Web Host
Choosing a web host requires good research through various forums and review sites. A good uptime with good 24x7 support is always beneficial and productive for your money spent for renting a server. Also choosing a dedicated server is much more beneficial for more security and dedicated physical hardware for your needs.

Re: How to Choose a Web Host
There are so many hosting companies with crazy deals in the market, so, choosing a great web host with best user support is little trickier. Once caught up in a wrong hand, it is very difficult to move your business elsewhere.

Therefore, it is vital to “get it right the first time” with the great hosting company. "Great hosting boils down to the 3 S's: speed, support and security," also some other points are very important:

- Find out what your website needs to function
- Consider size and potential growth
- Check the amount of storage offered
- Compare bandwidth amounts between hosts
- Read reviews of a company's customer service and support team
- Make sure you understand the costs

Hope, It is helping you to choose a web host.
