I'm setting up a reseller account with Site5 and needed some advice. Basically, I'm in Toronto, so does it make a difference if I choose their Toronto server location? It's $2 higher than the other locations ($25.95 monthly for 50GB/500GB bandwidth).
Now, I've been doing some reading and, apparently, it's advisable to not use either your domain registrar's or your webhost's DNS. So it should be set up through a 3rd party provider like DynDNS or ZoneEdit.
If I were to go with this option, I'm guessing I'd have to purchase a dedicated IP from Site5 and then point an A record from DynDNS there, right? Are there any advantages with this method?
