Domain Transfer

Does anyone know how domain transfer works? We have a website and we hosted the domain name to other company then the problem is they don't want to give us the domain name account administrator area. So what is the best for us to do?

You need following 3 items to get your domain name transferred:

1. Your email address listed in domain administrative contact (required to approve domain transfer emails.)

2. Your domain not locked by your registrar (It it is locked, you cannot transfer that.)

3. Your domain "Transfer Authorization or EPP Key".

Once you've these 3 information, you can easily transfer your domain name to any registrar.

I always book domain and park or host them with reliable registrars and hosts.

Actually what happen is our domain registrar doesnt want to give us the access to our domain name account that's why I need help on what to do with this, They really dont want to give us the domain access how can we set up our website correctly.. as a customer what are our rights...

That is exact what they are doing to us, can I ask for advice? the domain company is located here in our country...

You can't transfer a domain out of a registrar if its less than 60 days old, also if they don't let you into the admin area at all, you can threaten to sue them for your right to the domain.

I've already talk to them then they give us the acces its ok now I finally got the access on it.. thanks for your advice
